“…For other compounds, the observed effect has ranged from no alteration in the removal to some extent of inhibition, determined as a significant increase in the DT 50 values, depending on the mixture of pesticides simultaneously treated. The most remarkable inhibition effects have been determined for ametryn (Figure B), for which DT 50 doubled from 43.9 to 92.4 d in a mixture of three herbicides and oxytetracycline at 17.4 mg/kg, carbendazim, whose DT 50 suffered a 3-fold increase from 8.9 to 26.8 d and metalaxyl with a 2.7-fold increase in DT 50 from 6.5 to 17.5 d, both cases during the simultaneous treatment of six pesticides (fungicides and insecticides) at the same oxytetracycline dose . More modest, subtle delays in removal are also reported for atrazine, chlorpyrifos, and terbutryn at a dose of 50 mg/kg, but not at 10 mg/kg oxytetracycline, and linuron at 17.4 mg/kg oxytetracycline .…”

A couple of studies describe cases in which some extent of removal increase was observed during application of oxytetracycline for methamidophos (DT 50 decrease from 2.0 to 1.0–1.1 d) and terbutryn (DT 50 decrease from 51.0 to 34.0 d), though this seems to be the least common scenario.…”

“…There are many different mixed effects among different neonicotinoids. According to some previous studies, co-application of oxytetracycline inhibited the removal of two fungicides (carbendazim and metalaxyl) in IF systems and resulted in longer half-lives [31]. Jiang et al found that oxytetracycline might decelerate the dissipation rate of herbicides by affecting soil microorganisms and enzymes [32].…”
