“…A successful TAVI was done on a patient with severe aortic stenosis with comorbidities including coexistent AAA, which was previously treated with EVAR [9]. In a combined procedure reported by Yanes-Bowden et al, EVAR was done before the TAVI for two reasons, namely; to avoid dissections that may be caused by advancing the stiff TAVI devices in a relatively tortuous aorta and to prevent aneurysmal rupture from the increased blood pressure following TAVI [5].
