Abstract:Churg-Strauss syndrome (CSS) is a rare systemic vasculitis, that essentially affects medium-sized vessels, involves multiple organs and in the majority of cases is related to asthma and eosinophilia. The authors make a review of this disease and discuss its differential diagnosis presenting the case of a woman with asthma that at the age of 65 is diagnosed with CSS.
