“…Zeolitic-imidazolate-frameworks-8 (ZIF-8) have been demonstrated as effective precursors or templates for constructing nitrogen-doped single-atom catalysts (SACs) through hightemperature pyrolysis, taking advantage of their abundant nitrogen species, tunability of metal nodes, facile fabrication, and high structural stability. [1][2][3] Over the past decade, ZIF-8derived SACs have been widely used in various electrocatalytic reactions, including the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), 4 oxygen evolution reaction (OER), 5,6 oxygen reduction reaction (ORR), [7][8][9][10] nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR), 11,12 and CO 2 reduction reaction (CO 2 RR).
