Single-crystalline LiMn2O4 nanoparticles by the gel combustion method assisted by microwave for high-performance lithium-ion battery

Abstract: Low-cost and e cient electrode materials play a key role in improving the performance of Lithium Ion Battery. In this paper, the single-crystalline LiMn 2 O 4 nanoparticles were synthesized through the gelcombustion method assisted by microwave followed by calcination treatment. High-quality singlecrystallinity characteristics of the LiMn 2 O 4 precursors powder could be well retained after a hightemperature (990℃) solid-state reaction.
