Abstract:Multi-objective reliability-based design optimization (MORBDO) is an efficient tool for generating reliable Pareto-optimal (PO) solutions. However, generating such PO solutions requires many function evaluations for reliability analysis, thereby increasing the computational cost. In this paper, a single-loop multi-objective reliability-based design optimization formulation is proposed that approximates reliability analysis using Karush-Kuhn Tucker (KKT) optimality conditions. Further, chaos control theory is u… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
