Single-pixel real-part and magnitude imaging system based on digital micromirror device

Abstract: Single-pixel imaging (SPI) can capture images using a single-pixel detector. However, conventional SPI schemes only provide a magnitude image of the object, where the phase information is completely lost. Here, we present a dual-modal SPI (DMSPI) system capable of simultaneously capturing the real-part and magnitude images.
