Abstract: A suspension of single-walled carbon nanohorn (SWCNH) aggregates with a size of approx. 50 nm was used to create a floating film at the water–air interface. The film was then transferred onto large-area quartz substrates using the Langmuir–Schaefer technique at varied surface pressures.
