Sistema de innovación de la salud: redes en Río Grande do Sul/Brasil

Fecha de recepción: 5 de mayo del 2015 Fecha de aceptación y versión final: 9 de julio del 2016 RESUMEN: Siguiendo el enfoque de sistema de innovación, el artículo tiene el objetivo de contribuir a caracterizar el proceso de innovación en el área de salud. Para esto, fueron analizadas las interacciones entre actores del sistema de salud en Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. El estudio se basa en un conjunto de datos secundarios y primarios y se caracteriza por ser un estudio empírico exploratorio. Los datos primarios se recogieron a través de cuestionarios y entrevistas cara a cara. Los datos secundarios fueron obtenidos del Directorio de Grupos de Investigación del Consejo Nacional de Desarrollo Científico y Tecnológico y fueron utilizados para la construcción de redes de interacción. El análisis ha demostrado que, si bien se reconoce la presencia en el sistema de salud local de una serie de organizaciones, las interacciones entre los diversos subsistemas -servicios, de enseñanza e investigación e industriales-son poco frecuentes. Entre los actores que se destacaron como centrales en las redes están: un hospital universitario, universidades tradicionales de investigación del Estado y organizaciones de distintos tipos y tamaños.Palabras clave: sistema de innovación de la salud; redes de interacciones entre actores; Brasil. ABSTRACT: Following the approach of the innovation system, the article aims to contribute to characterize the innovation process in the health area. It was analyzed interactions among actors of the health system in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The study was based on a set of secondary and primary data and is characterized as an exploratory empirical study. Primary data were collected through questionnaires and face-to-face interviews. Secondary data were obtained from the Directory of Research Groups of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development, Brazil, and were used to build interactions networks. The analysis has shown that although the recognized presence in the local health system of a number of organizations, interactions among the various subsystems -services, teaching and research, and industrial-are rare. Among the actors who stood out as central players in the network are: a university hospital, traditional research universities and a various types and sizes of productive sector organizations. © Ediciones Universidad de
