Sisterhood as a Saviour of Afghan Women: An Analysis of Khaled Hosseini’s Ideology

Abstract: Sisterhood corresponds to a bond of love, cooperation and solidarity among women to fight against their individual or collective oppression at the hands of patriarchy. It initiates and shapes the struggle of women against their sexism. On the other hand, envy and non-cooperation act as enemies of women, making them as easy prey for the patriarchal forces.
