This contribution aims to present a conceptual framework for developing territorial development strategies based on crowdsourcing technologies to enhance intangible heritage within the context of Italian inner areas. The work provides essential background information, examining technological aspects, defining intangible heritage precisely, and applying socially innovative strategies for marginal territories. Additionally, it offers a strategic framework to implement solutions that engage local communities and ensure widespread benefits. The study integrates methodologies of extensive literature review, policy analysis, and interactions with stakeholders during experimental fieldwork activities.
