SIVA, a target of p53, is downregulated in myelodysplastic syndromes

Abstract: Background: SIVA is a transcriptional target of p53 that plays a potential role in the development and progression of cancer. In this study, we analyzed SIVA1 and SIVA2 expression, and its association with clinical features and TP53 and MDM2 expression in bone marrow cells from healthy donors and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) patients.
