Size of Individual Areas and Character Shelters used of some Species of Mustelids (Carnivora, Mustelidae) in the North of the Lower Volga Region

Abstract: Investigated of the structure of an individual areas for 9 species of mustelidae in the north of the Lower Volga. The mean size of individual area and character of the main use of shelters have been defined. Size habitats varies markedly in different species of predators is determined primarily by the availability of food resources. As shelters are often used suitable natural cover.
