Skin reactions caused by centipedes: Long‐lasting necrosis and late‐onset local reaction

Abstract: Centipedes are nocturnal, fast-moving, multisegmented arthropods [1, 2]. To date, approximately 20 genera and 3000 species have been identified; Scolopendra is the most wellknown and largest centipede with a length ranging from 8 to 20 cm [1, 3].
