“…The effectiveness of the method was tested experimentally using three-DOF helicopter setup, and the results were compared with the linear pole assignment method developed in [7]. This method was combined with the sliding mode control method in another study [32]. The experimental study results revealed that the maximum overshoot and settling time can be decreased if the disc centre is selected to be sufficiently further away form the imaginary axis and the disc radius is sufficiently small.…”
