Abstract:Summary
This paper addresses the sliding mode control problem for continuous systems in the output feedback framework. To remove the conventional rank constraint imposed on the input and output matrices, a novel compensator‐based sliding surface is proposed firstly. Then, by designing an unmeasured state and disturbance (USD) observer to estimate the lumped unmeasurable state and external disturbance, both the discontinuous and continuous sliding mode output feedback controllers are synthesized. Finally, the v… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
