Sliding wear behavior of FeCrC reinforced and Ni-based composites produced by mechanical alloying technique

Abstract: The study presents the behavior of FeCrC particulates reinforced and Ni-based composites produced by a mechanical alloying process in the presence of friction and wear. Ni, Al and M7C3 powders having 100 µm size were mixed, mechanically alloyed and the compacts were sintered in an atmosphere controlled furnace.
