Small-volume resuscitation with hyperoncotic albumin: a systematic review of randomized clinical trials

Abstract: Background Small-volume resuscitation can rapidly correct hypovolemia. Hyperoncotic albumin solutions, long in clinical use, are suitable for small-volume resuscitation; however, their clinical benefits remain uncertain.
