Smart agriculture monitoring system for outdoor and hydroponic environments

Abstract: <span>Agriculture plays an important role in economic aspects in most countries like India. Numerous problems associated with farming are continuously affecting the actions that are happening in the country. A potential resolution for such issues to be eradicated, one should combine the technological advancements with current ongoing agricultural practices. Good agricultural practice will increase crop productivity and reduce unwanted water usage. Many authors have done research on temperature, nutrition… Show more

“…In line with this, our study proposes a smart management system that utilizes a variety of sensors to continuously track essential environmental variables such as temperature, humidity, and light intensity [7], [8], as depicted in Figure 1. Real-time data accessibility enables researchers to precisely assess each plant's growing environment.…”

“…PAS incorporates various technologies, such as GPS, sensors, drones, and machine learning algorithms, to collect data on factors that influence crop growth, including soil moisture, nutrient levels, temperature, and weather patterns. By analyzing the data collected through these technologies [192,193], farmers can make informed decisions about when and where to apply fertilizers, water, and pesticides, among other inputs. This parameter has been the focus of a considerable number of research studies, some of which are [194,195].…”
