The business world, especially MSMEs, makes a big contribution to the Indonesian economy, but unfortunately their competitiveness is still low. Of course, many factors influence it, including technology and capital. This research aims to prove whether the ability to use information technology and access to capital influence the competitiveness of SMEs. The methodology in this research uses a quantitative approach, the population is SME business managers in Pekanbaru City with a sample of 75 business managers, taken using simple random sampling. Data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis tools. The research results prove that both partially and simultaneously the variables of ability to use information technology and access to capital have a significant effect on the competitiveness of SMEs in the city of Pekanbaru.
