Abstract: Highlights Oral smokeless tobacco (SLT) products are non-combusted forms of tobacco that can be dependence producing. SLT use may pose health risks to users such as cardiovascular disease (CVD) through various pathways including influencing hemodynamics, endothelial dysfunction, inflammation, insulin resistance, hyperlipidemia, and arrhythmogenesis.
