Smoking's effects on respiratory sinus arrhythmia in adolescent smokers

Abstract: Respiratory sinus arrhythmia (RSA) has emerged as an indicator of how well the body maintains homeostasis and flexibly responds to environmental demands. Previous research has shown that smoking has both acute and chronic effects on RSA in adults.
