“…The conversion rate of DBT increased to 94.5% with the increase in the O/S ratio to 5 but then decreased to 80% at an O/S ratio of 6. These findings suggest that increasing the O/S ratio can enhance the activity of SnO 2 -SBA-15 for the ODS reaction but only up to a certain point …”

“…These findings suggest that increasing the O/S ratio can enhance the activity of SnO 2 -SBA-15 for the ODS reaction but only up to a certain point. 143 Cellulose acetate (CA) is a polymer material that is costeffective and has controlled formability, making it a suitable carrier for catalysts in industrial applications. 144 results showed that increasing the quantity from 0.5 to 1.0 L/min led to a significant increase in the sulfur removal efficiency from 85.42 to 96.04%.…”

“…Various researchers have demonstrated the use of ILs in desulfurization of diesel as a promising and an environmentally benign technology . Several techniques have been investigated, including extractive desulfurization (EDS), oxidative desulfurization (ODS), combined extractive and oxidative desulfurization (ECODS), and desulfurization using immobilized ILs. The main factors that influence the results obtained from each technique include the length of the alkyl chain of the IL cation, the type of cation and anion, temperature, pressure, and time. What all these techniques have in common is their superior ability to extract high-molecular-weight sulfur compounds, such as BT and DBT, at mild operating conditions relative to those of conventional HDS.…”
