With the increasing cross-country immigration and human mobility, different cultures are reflected more in the schools. The behavioral patterns of educational leaders in multicultural settings and the affecting factors have been subject to many discussions and researches. This study examines the relationship between school principals’ distributed leadership behaviors and teachers’ social justice leadership and attitudes toward multiculturalism. A structural model has been created and tested through the mentioned variables integrative approach. The results partially confirm that teachers’ social justice leadership behaviors mediate the relationships between the principals’ distributed leadership behaviors and their attitudes toward multiculturalism. In a structure where leadership roles are shared at school, teachers can exhibit more social justice leadership behavior; their attitudes toward multiculturalism become more positive. Distributed leadership increases teachers’ support, critical consciousness, and inclusive behavior. Implications for practice, theory, and policy are also discussed in the paper.

This research aims to examine the correlation between students' sense of school belonging and social justice leadership behaviours of school principals. This research is conducted in correlational screening model. Research data are collected by "Students' Sense of School Belonging Scale" and "Social Justice Leadership Scale". Data social obtained from scales, which were applied on 510 high school students, are analyzed in the research. In the research, it is determined that students' sense of school belonging is at moderate level and that school principals exhibit social leadership behaviours in moderate level. No significant difference is determined in students' sense of school belonging in terms of the gender of students, socio-economical level of school and grade level of students. While any significant difference was not found in terms of socio-economical status of the school in terms of the way that students' perceive the social justice leadership behaviours of school principals, a significant difference was determined in terms of the gender of students and grade levels. A positive significant correlation of moderate level was found between the way students' perceive the social justice leadership behaviours of school principals and students' sense of school belonging. It was determined that the way that students' perceive the social justice leadership behaviours of school principals predict their sense of school belonging and that it clarifies 17% of the variance related with their sense of school belonging.

The purpose of this research overview is to understand the main contemporary research objects that characterizes the research field of school leadership in Sweden. Published literature within the field between 2014 and 2018 together with a mapping of research interests from 99 university teachers in the state funded education programme for principals, form the understandings of the field. The results indicate that the field is constituted by the interests of foremost understanding governance, policy, inspection and school leaders work and pedagogical leadership. A need of systems thinking, investigations of skills and competences, and lack of critical research are examples that calls for new directions in future studies within the field.
