Social Well-Being and Aggressiveness to Employees

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between social welfare and employee aggressiveness. The aggressiveness of employees that has occurred so far is in the form of oppression, threats and even intimidation that make employees feel uncomfortable. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach, with the type of correlation. The sampling technique in this study used a non-probability sampling technique with a sample size of 100 employees. The measurement of social welfare variables using the social welfare scale was adopted from the measuring instrument developed by Keyes by obtaining a cronbach alpha value of 0.952 while the aggressiveness scale was adopted from Ubaidillah with a cronbach alpha value of 0.926. The results showed that there was a significant negative relationship between social welfare and aggressive behavior of employees at PT. X. The results of hypothesis testing with Pearson's product moment obtained a significance of 0.002 or less than 0.05 with a negative correlation value, so that the hypothesis is accepted. This means that the higher the social welfare, the lower the aggressiveness of PT X's employees.
