Moreover, dispersions of Ni NPs in different types of ionic‐liquids have been obtained by auto‐decomposition, or microwave‐induced decomposition of Ni(COD) 2 (COD=1,5‐cyclooctadiene). This zero‐valent organometallic complex has also been used as starting compound for the production of Ni NPs following the Chaudret's organometallic approach,, consisting in the reduction and subsequent displacement of a ligand from a metal(0) organometallic precursor.…”
