Increasing soil interventions due to occupation have generated impacts and changes leading to changes in the natural profile of soils. This research aims to identify and analyze the physical, chemical and morphological attributes in the city of Cáceres – Mato Grosso. The study was conducted in the urban perimeter of the city, where samples were collected in nine representative profiles distributed in the central, intermediate and peripheral areas of the center. Laboratory analyzes of chemical and physical aspects and morphological description were performed according to Embrapa and the Brazilian Soil Classification System. The soils found belong to the classes of Latossolos, Gleissolos and Plintossolos. We highlight the presence of exogenous materials and notable alterations resulting from anthropic occupation.
