“…(Bui tan Yen et al 2013;Bhaskar et al 2015).The soil -site suitability for ground nut production was used for small holder farmers in Chisamba district Zambia (Chirwa et al 2016) and in periurban Niayeszone Senegal (Diallo et al 2016) with limitations of soil acidity and soil fertility where as soil moisture retention capacity, nutrient availability and nutrient retention were critical factors to the management of groundnut in Haplustalfs of Nigeria (Maniyunda et al 2014, Ahukaemere et al 2015. In India, soil suitability assessment made in different landforms of Meghal command area of Southern Saurashtra, Gujarat state and reported the biophysical constraints of shallow depth, poor fertility, bulk density and low saturated hydraulic conductivity (Savalia and Gundalia, 2009;Gundalia, 2010, Patel et al, 2012;Selvaraj and Naidu, 2012;) and high pH and , saline/sodic soils in Western Saurashtra region of Gujarat (Meena et al 2017). Attempts were made in application of fertility capability classification(FCC) in conjunction with socio -economic considerations to enhance small holder farmers in Bayelsa state (Dickson et al 2002) and land capability approach in economic evaluation and cost -benefit analysis with respect to agriculture in Mahadayi river, Karnataka (Thawale et al 2014).…”
