Solid neuroendocrine carcinomas of the breast: metastases or primary tumors?

Abstract: Neuroendocrine breast carcinomas are rare but may represent either metastatic or primary lesions. So far, clinical and preoperative histopathological examinations do not distinguish properly between a primary or metastatic breast tumor.
