Abstract:Solitary fibrous tumors (SFTs) are a rare type of soft tissue tumor first identified as arising from pleura and usually arising in the thoracic cavity. The incidence of SFTs arising in the head and neck region is much lower, accounting for about 7% of SFT cases.
