Abstract: Background Neurofibroma is a common benign tumor of neuronal origin that can occur as a solitary tumor or as a component of the generalized syndrome of neurofibromatosis. Neurofibromas are primarily located in the subcutaneous soft tissues and commonly involve extra-oral sites.
