Solitary peripheral osteomas of the jaws

Abstract: Osteoma is a benign osteogenic tumor composed of cancellous or compact bone, classified as peripheral, central, or extraskeletal. Peripheral osteomas are uncommon. Excluding the maxillary sinuses, the maxilla is a rare site for osteomas.
