Thirty-five cases of solitary plasmacytoma of the skull have been reported in the literature [2,[4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18]; 13 cases occurred primarily in the parietal bone [5-8, 10, 15, 16], 6 in the occipital bone [5,[12][13][14][15], 5 in the frontal bone [5,9,18], 3 in the temporal bone [5,16,17] and 1 in the sphenoid bone [11].
