Soliter Fibröz Tümör; Nadir Bir Göğüs Duvarı Tümörü Olgusu

Ekstremiteler, baş ve boyun bölgesi, torasik duvar, mediastinum, perikard gibi ekstraplevral bölgede de görülebilir. Soliter fibröz tümörün toraks duvarında saptanması son derece enderdir. Ağrısız kitleler olması nedeniyle ihmal edildiğinde dev boyutlara ulaşabilen bu tümörün erken tanısı son derece önemlidir. Ekstraplevral soliter fibröz tümör tanısı nadir olması nedeniyle zordur ve spesifik klinik, histolojik, immünohistokimyasal ve hatta moleküler bulguları içeren multidisipliner bir yaklaşım gerektirir. Genellikle benign olarak düşünülse de malign potansiyeli olan bu tümörlerin total rezeksiyonu ve yakın takibi tedavinin yapı taşlarıdır. Bu nadir ve ilginç vakayı soliter fibröz tümörün göğüs duvarında da bulunabileceğini vurgulamak için sunuyoruz. Anahtar kelimelerPlevral tümörler; soliter fibröz tümör; göğüs duvarı. AbstractSolitary fibrous tumors are rare neoplasms often originate from pleura. It may also occur in extrapleural area like extremities, head and neck region, thoracic wall, mediastinum, pericardium. Detection of solitary fibrous tumor in the thoracic wall is extremely rare. Because these tumors are painless, diagnosis may be delayed. Therefore, early diagnosis is very important in these tumors. The diagnosis of extrapleural SFT is challenging, owing to its rarity, and requires an integrated approach that includes specific clinical, histological, immunohistochemical, and even molecular findings. Although they are generally considered benign, these tumors have malignant potential. Total resection and close follow-up of these tumors are the cornerstones of the treatment. We present this rare and interesting case to emphasize the presence of a solitary fibrous tumor on the thoracic wall.
