Abstract:BACKGROUND: Intensive care units (ICU) are multidisciplinary departments where patients with life-threatening diseases, major surgical interventions, respiratory failure, coma condition, hemodynamic insufficiency, and ≥1 organ failure are admitted for relevant diagnoses and treatment.
