Solving practical power system problems using hierarchical interactive PSO strategy considering SVC controllers

Abstract: This paper presents a hierarchical interactive particle swarm optimization (HIPSO) for solving the static multi objective optimal power flow (OPF) considering multi SVC controllers and dynamic economic dispatch (DED).
