Solvo‐thermal Preparation and Characterization of Two CdII Coordination Polymers Constructed From 2,6‐(1,2,4‐Triazole‐4‐yl)pyridine and 5‐R‐Isophthalic Acid (R = Nitro, Sulfo)

Abstract: Under the solvo-thermal conditions, two novel Cd II mixedligand coordination materials with 2,6-(1,2,4-triazole-4-yl)pyridine(L 1 ) and aromatic poly-carboxylic acid co-ligands such as 5-R-isophthalic acid (R = nitro, sulfo), namely [Cd() were successfully prepared. These Cd II mixed-ligand coordination polymers 1-2 have been measured by crystal X-ray analysis, FT-IR spectra and powder X-ray diffraction analyses. In 1, these seven-coordinate Cd II atoms (Cd1) are inter-linked by didentate 5-nitroisophthalic ac… Show more

“…The simulated PXRD of MOF‐Cu‐1 in Figure S5 has a low‐angle peak that appears of lower intensity in the experimental pattern, which may result from the different crystal orientation between the abundant crystal powders and a single crystal. [ 34 ] Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) was performed under N 2 atmosphere to test the thermal stability of the framework. As illustrated in Figure S3, the TG data of MOF‐Cu‐1 exhibited gradual weight loss of 3.5 w% before 225°C, which corresponds to the loss of free solvent DMF molecules (calcd.…”
