Solvothermal synthesis of hair-like carbon nanotubes onto sub-micron-sized spherical metal oxide catalyst cores

Abstract

Sub-micron-sized almost perfect spherical catalysts, FeOx/ZrO2, were prepared by solvothermal and impregnation methods, which were subjected to thermal CVD using C2H2 gas leading to “CNT-hair”.
