Abstract: Spinocerebellar ataxia 27B (SCA27B) is a common autosomal dominant ataxia caused by an intronic GAA•TTC repeat expansion inFGF14. Neuropathological studies have shown that neuronal loss is largely restricted to the cerebellum.
