Some Basic Realities in Journalism Education Today

Abstract: In his presidential address to the 1961 convention of the Association for Education in Journalism, the dean of the University of Oregon School of Journalism advanced seven basic propositions which describe the current state of affairs in journalism education and its relations with the media.
