Abstract:In this paper, we study the geometry of rectifying curves in the 3-dimensional hyperbolic space H 3 (−r). Further we obtain the distance function in terms of arc length when the rectifying curve lying in the upper half plane. Then we find the distance function and also give the general equations of the curvature and torsion of rectifying general helices in H 3 (−r).

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
