Some notes on the temperature response of packed beds

Abstract: The numerical solution presented here is capable of describing non-Newtonian jet flow under realistic conditions (finite width orifice, any type of initial profiles) and has certain advantages over the similarity solution. However, in many instances it might be easier to use the similarity solution.
