“…As shown in Fig. 3, that can be sure by X-ray diffraction experiments that nylon 12 raw material is indeed in the form of γ-phase, its diffraction peak at (001) crystal plane and (200) crystal plane is consistent with the reported in the literature [5,6].…”

“…WAXD patterns for POSS and PA 12/POSS composites with various POSS contents are shown in Figure 1. PA 12 itself displays two reflections at 2θ = 5.5° and 21.3° corresponding to the (200) and (001) planes of pseudo‐hexagonal γ‐form crystals, respectively 27, 28. No new crystalline structure or crystal transformation was observed in PA 12/POSS composites with POSS content from 0.5 to 1 wt %, which indicates that the presence of low loading of POSS did not influence the crystalline structures of the melt‐crystallized PA 12 samples.…”

“…The Amide II band at 1560 cm −1 reflects the γ‐form in PA 1227–29 [Fig. 3 (b)], which moves to a lower frequency region with the intensity decreasing, as temperature increases.…”
