With the development of China’s urbanization and the loss of rural population, the problem of insufficient students in rural primary schools has become more and more serious. The country adjusts the pattern of rural education and implements the policy of “withdrawal and integration”, and the phenomenon of idle primary school space has also emerged one after another, resulting in a lot of waste of resources. Rural revitalization and development is facing the problems of insufficient capital and talents, fragile ecology and hollowing out of villages. From the Angle of “light intervention”, this paper cuts into the transformation of “rural idle primary school”, and takes Tangkou Nanqiang Primary School as an example to explore the research background, transformation principles and transformation strategies of Kaiping’s “rural idle primary School” sustainable transformation.
