Some reflections upon the reduction postulate in the light of today's technology

Abstract: We pose some reflections about the reduction postulate using experimental arrangements and results within the reach of today's technology. The reduction postulates: von Neumann's and Luders'The reduction process as a postulate appears for the first time in [3] and some years later [4] was generalized to include the measurement of observables with a degenerate spectrum.
