Abstract:The species of the New World genus Paraolinx Ashmead are reviewed. Paraolinx typica Howard and Paraolinx lineatifrons Ashmead are recognized. Paraolinx nigriventris Girault is equated to P. typica, a new synonymy. Three new species are described, one from Canada, another from the southeastern United States and a third from Trinidad.
