The purpose of this study is to introduce English vocabulary through play for children in Pasir Jaya village who still have a low level of ability in English. Aspects of increased ability to recognize English vocabulary are in vocabulary, word pronunciation and listening. Respondents in this study amounted to 10 children with an age range of 8-10 years who are located in Kp. Pasir Jawa Rt 03/06 Pasir Jaya village, Cigombong subdistrict, Bogor district. The method used in this research is the Kurt Lewin model of action research. The results of this study indicate that the learning approach through play is effective for introducing children's vocabulary. This is based on the results of data collection from instrument interviews, observations, documentation and tests which show a significant increase. Based on observations on the cycle, it was found that only 10% of the 10 respondents had knowledge of English words, both vocabulary, pronunciation and listening, then it increased 73% in the first cycle with an average score of 83% and continued to increase in cycle II 9% with an average score of 91.6%. In carrying out this activity the respondents directed a positive response and high enthusiasm. So playing effectively for the introduction of English vocabulary.
