Sound velocities and thermodynamical properties of hcp iron at high pressure and temperature

Abstract: Sound velocities and thermodynamical properties of hcp iron have been computed using ab initio calculations over an extended density and temperature range, encompassing the conditions directly relevant for the Earth’s inner core.
