Abstract:The objective of this study was to develop and apply a non-chemical based environmentally preferable hydrogen sulfide scavenger that addresses secondary issues caused by current chemical scavengers like triazine and glyoxal and to confirm its ability to mitigate sulfide in different applications. Recombinant DNA and protein expression technologies were exploited to develop this novel H2S scavenger.
This non-chemical scavenger (NCS) is generated by cloning the cDNA sequence from a thermophilic or… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
