“…Yan et al [ 18 ] used the logistic multiple regression model to analyze the driving forces of the changes in habitat quality in the northeast area of Beijing. Moreira et al [ 38 ] used the InVEST model to assess the habitat conservation status in Pico Island from the perspective of land-use. Sallustio et al [ 43 ] assessed habitat quality and degradation based on a high-resolution land-use map of Italy.…”

“…The InVEST model, which is used to evaluate ecosystem function [ 26 ], was jointly developed by Stanford University, The Nature Conservancy, and the World Wildlife Fund. The habitat quality module in the InVEST model calculates the habitat quality index by combining landscape type sensitivity and external threat intensity, and evaluates biodiversity service functions based on the index: the greater the index, the higher the habitat quality and the greater the biodiversity [ 26 , 38 ]. The equation is as follows: where Q xj is the habitat quality of grid x in land-use type j , D xj is the threat level of grid x in land-use type j , H j is the habitat suitability of land-use type j , k is a half-saturation constant that is usually half of the maximum value of D xj , and z is the normalisation constant, which is usually 2.5.…”

“…The global importance of the Galapagos Islands for biodiversity conservation and the high sensitivity of tropical island systems to drivers of change highlights the need to identify priority areas where conservation and management actions can be implemented to mitigate human impacts while increasing ecosystem resilience (Moreira et al 2018;Cuesta et al 2017;Fajardo et al 2014;Kareiva et al 2011). In this review, we discuss the main drivers of change that threaten the unique marine and terrestrial ecosystems of Galapagos.…”

“…Ecological environment quality evaluation, which refers to the evaluation of the ecological environment quality and its influence relationship based on a series of the selected indicator systems and evaluation criteria [10]. At the present, there are two main methods of researches: the first method is based on the various model evaluation methods, such as ecological environment suitability index model (HSI) [11][12], SolVES model [13], and MaxEnt model [14][15], etc, the ecological environment quality module in the InVEST model is the most widely used and mature ecological environment quality evaluation method in the present [16][17][18][19]. In recent years, a large number of related researches which based on the model have been done to evaluate and analyze the ecological environment quality in different regions.…”
